Portchester Oak is a small but expanding range of oak furniture manufactured by craftsmen who have a long tradition of working in solid oak from managed European forests. It is manufactured from a combination of solid oak and veneers.
A characteristic of oak is its natural imperfections which usually consist of small knots, blemishes, cracks and slight variations in colour. Care should be taken to avoid extremes of temperature as with any solid wood product there is likely to be some movement while the wood adjusts to the atmospheric conditions of your home.
Some pieces in the Portchester collection are extremely heavy requiring more than one person to lift. All measurements are approximate. All goods supplied subject to the companys terms and conditions of trading, copies of which are available on request.
